Partnership Working

Southwark Legal Advice Network

We work with other advice agencies in Southwark to ensure we have a strategic approach to providing advice services in the Borough

Immigration Advice Partnership

Funding from the Baring Foundation enables us to facilitate training and networking on immigration issues across Southwark and Lewisham.

Housing and Immigration Group

Funding from Trust for London enables us to coordinate the London Wide Housing and Immigration Group which facilitates the sharing of good practice and information between practitioners and referrals for urgent cases.

Southwark Homelessness Forum

Brings together representatives from the voluntary sector and representatives of Southwark Council to try and develop a joined up approach to tackling issues of homelessness and ensuring policies do not adversely affect local residents.

Job Centre/DWP liaison

Meets quarterly to raise welfare benefit issues affecting local residents and provides a channel of communication for DWP new policies and procedures.

Refugee and Asylum Seeker Action Group

Meets regularly with an aim of improving access to support and services for refugees. Chaired by Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers and Southwark Refugee Communities Forum
